COATED ABRASIVES

iv) ABRASIVE FIBRE DISCS:

These discs are available in Resin Bonded Aluminium Oxide grain and Zirconia grain, backed with strong vulcanised fibre.

Sizes:
Available in 7", 5", 4" dia with centre hole and in grits ranging from 16 to 120 grain.

Applications:
Used for heavy stock removal surface grinding, removal of old paints, removal of welds / dressing deburring and finishing operations in auto OEM'S, body shops, general engineering and fabrication shops etc.

 

v) ABRASIVE VELCRO DISCS AND ABRASIVE PSA DISCS:

Self sticking velcro discs and pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA stick it) disc in a variety of sizes, available with or without holes. These are Resin Bonded Electro Coated Aluminium Oxide discs used for excellent cutting performance.

Sizes:
Available in 5" & 6" dia with velcro or psa stick it disc type.

Applications:
Mechanical application in wood working industries, surface preperation, sanding finishing in sheet metal industries etc.

 

vi) NON WOVEN ABRASIVE:

It is a three dimensional non woven material, comprising of Nylon fibre, Resin and Abrasive grain used for conditioning and cleaning of surfaces in preparation for the application of coating, lamination and plating. The uniform distribution of the abrasive grit throughout the web, ensures consistent and controlled abrasive action, while the open structure prevents clogging and dissipates heat better.

Moreover its spring like feature enables it to conform to irregular or contoured surfaces of the work piece.

Available in Hand Pads, Rolls, Surface Conditioning Discs, Non Woven Polishing Wheels etc.

Applications:
Rust & corrosion removal, cleaning & finishing of die & mould, decorative finish, matt or satin finish on brassware, stainless steel & aluminium article etc.

 

vii) POLISHING FELTS:

Felt Bobs are made from 100% wool in various shapes and sizes to meet most challenging finishing tasks. These Bobs are workable on high speed hand tools and used for applications like polishing, deburring, microfinishing, scratch removing and touch-ups.
